I was done setting up my camera for the perfect shot. Standing on the edge of the cliff, as I looked down into the endless chasm, it gave me goosebumps. I felt my hair stand on end. But at the same time, I could hear every single beat of my heart.
I looked up at the Sun; it was about to set. Suddenly Dad’s words echoed in my ears – dreams hinder rationality…mark my words…you’ll be a failure.
I texted him some of my shots and typed –
I may not achieve success, Dad, but I’ll have a life lived without regrets.
